The Martial Arts Entrepreneur.

I think there have been times when I have looked at my self and wondered, am I a martial arts Entrepreneur. I have never set out to be one, but I think it is just part of the landscape of being a leader to a large group of students. I realised that all of the characteristics of a leader inadvertently are also taught in martial arts and Entrepreneurship. someone that likes winning, scoring goals, and is constantly looking for new angles and better ways of doing things.

An entrepreneur never sits still, and is never interested in mediocrity. I set the bar high. Integrity and honestly, courage and discipline are a couple of the tenets that I constantly refer to. The entrepreneur in any business needs to have a moral code to which they can use to make sure people stay on track. I used to run a lot of events, several workshops and several gradings always kept my school at the students front of mind.

These days I have taken a new way. Though I spend plenty of time doing martial arts, I have made time to write. And this has been great. Now I am a writing Entrepreneur. It has been a challenging and interesting new path. I realised that to wait 12 months while a book agent approached publishers with no guarantee of even getting a publisher, I needed to forge my own path. Hence the birth of andybooklover on Instagram. My 4 books are all about martial arts so it is definitely an entrepreneurial spin off from by main martial arts interests.

So far it has been very interesting. Books and writing are such a huge industry, it is a business juggernaut.

Content management and being an influencer.  Had no idea just what a huge industry this has become. Basically it is a new and faster direct marketing method that employs you and your social media followers to market various products. It over rides all current business and marketing  campaigns and as companies choose their content manager to deliver their product directly into the heart of their exact target market.. This is the new Entrepreneur warrior.
