Can we change out mindsets to include online training?

On line learning.

Each one of us only has so much we can allocate to thinking about a subject at any one time. We prefer to make the decision, then lock it in and choosing to not have to think about it again until you really have to. We then for good or bad, (I am not sure yet) we tend to see only what we have chosen, at the expense of everything else. The spectrum for changing your mind is different for everyone and the level of commitment is dependent on the subject. Just don’t make me think too much about it or I will be forced to give it some attention.

We need to nurture and build the relationship with out asking the member to allocate further valuable, already allocated band width to the activity, or at least not all at once. The particular subject that I want to cover is moving from a live, face to face environment to a virtual, live stream, online environment. For many people the latter scenario is all that has been available, as business have been forced to shut down, and they have done very well filling the gap so their businesses can remain afloat and the students can continue their education albeit, with a new experience. During this transition, it is a great opportunity to give your members a great new experience that is certainly just as good as the physical class experience, only different.

So, following the basics are all the same. Give your attention to every student. The class is not all about you. The needs of your members need to be put ahead of your own. It can be very easy to just think this is just a brief fad and not important. If you have not realised yet that for many of the businesses to survive post covid, you will need to have a strong well thought out online strategy that can work in tandem with your regular classes and look outside of your own catchment area as you aim to spread your message to a new frontier. Your limitations on this are only as strong as your thinking on it.

Once someone is committed to buying a product, it is pointless trying to get them to change and buy your product. Their bandwidth allocated to this part of their life is already full. You have to set yourself up so that people that choose what it is that you do, choose you by seeking you out, so it is not you finding them then trying to convince them to change, it is them finding you and you being ready to receive them. As people choose an online environment in other area of their lives. School, university and with so many people working from home. Their next step is to choose health and convenience at home. So, you had better be ready, because the new era is coming.
